What Free Cardio You Can Do Without Equipment or a Gym
The five most effective no-equipment cardio exercises are not secrets. They are classics because they work. What matters is how you scale and sequence them.
Jumping jacks are the foundation. They elevate heart rate fast, engage the full body, and require nothing but floor space. If you have joint concerns at the knee or ankle, swap to a low-impact stepping variation: step one foot out to the side while raising both arms, then bring it back in.
Mountain climbers build both aerobic capacity and core stability simultaneously. Start slow to nail the hip alignment, then increase your drive pace as fitness builds.
